School Principal Announcement

Glacier Peak High School Families –

I am excited to share that Brenda Conrad has been selected as Glacier Peak High School’s new principal beginning with the 2022-2023 school year. She joins assistant principals Holly Appelgate, Brittany Elliott and Lance Peters. She brings tremendous enthusiasm and experience to this role and is excited to be a part of our Grizzly community.

Principal Conrad comes to us from the Northshore School District where she has served as assistant principal at Woodinville High School since 2016. Prior to that, she worked at Bellevue High School as an administrative intern, activities and ASB leadership coordinator and family and consumer sciences/health teacher.

Many of you know that Principal Jeff Larson requested this spring to return to the classroom. After a decade in school administration, he made the request of wanting to return to working directly with students in the classroom, the potential of being involved in extra-curricular activities, and the ability to spend more time with his family.

As we close out the remainder of the school year, Principal Larson will continue to work alongside our Grizzly students, staff and families and we are grateful for his leadership. Please continue to reach out to him with any year-end questions or concerns, and please join me in congratulating and welcoming Principal Conrad to Glacier Peak High School!
