Reopening guidelines

General Considerations
We will continue to adhere to state, county and local mandates regarding the wearing of face coverings/masks. Per the Washington State Department of Health swimmers and swim instructors, regardless of vaccination status, are not required to wear masks or face shields, but may do so if they choose. All other staff and guests must wear face coverings/masks, regardless of vaccination status.

Group Swimming Lessons
We will continue as planned prior to reopening with group swimming lessons as most of the spaces for the summer have already sold out. Starting in September we will return to prior class capacities and the new fee of $9.95 per lesson. All guests who enrolled in any summer lesson session will have access to early registration for Fall 1 starting Monday, August 2. General registration for Fall 1 will start Monday, August 16.

Private Swimming Lessons
The reopening will not impact this program, aside from instructors will no longer be required to wear a mask or face covering.

Water Fitness Classes
We will continue as planned prior to reopening with July Water Fitness classes. Starting August 1, we will increase class capacity to 25 guests. Starting August 1, current three-month, annual, and 10-punch passes will again be accepted for August classes. The single visit rate will return to $8 per class. In September the single visit price will increase to $10 per visit, and 3-month pass prices will increase accordingly. We are eliminating the annual Water Fitness pass but will of course honor any previously purchased pass through its expiration date.

Flowrider
We will continue as planned prior to reopening with July Flowrider sessions. Starting August 1 capacities will change from five to six, and the one-hour fee will decrease from $20 to $16.50 per person per hour. Ten-punch passes will be available based on the new rate.

Open Recreation Swims
Starting July 1, we will begin accepting walk-in admissions to our open recreation swims. Pre-registration will remain available and is encouraged. We will continue to limit capacities due to staffing concerns and will continue to charge the flat rate of $10 per person. Spectators will no longer be required to pay the admission fee.

Lap Swimming
The reopening will not impact this program.

Birthday Parties
Due to staffing issues we will not resume our traditional birthday party packages until September. Starting July 10 we will offer our event rooms as available for rent for one hour before any open recrecation swim specifically for party use. The rental fee of $35 per hour covers just usage of the room. If food is served, we will add an additional $25 cleaning fee. We will only be able to accommodate one room rental per open swim session, and they will be filled on a first come-first served basis. Payment for the open rec admission and room rental will be due at time of booking. Non-swimmers do not need to pay the open rec admission fee.
