Each month students learn about a character trait and what it means to exhibit that trait. Discussing these traits with your child will aid in building the bridge between school and home.

In February, our monthly trait was empathy:

"Empathy is seeing with the eyes of another, listening with the ears of another, and feeling with the heart of another." - Alfred Adler

For March, our monthly trait will be trustworthiness:

"Any problem can be solved between two people if only they can trust each other." - Michael Morpurgo

• I always tell the truth so others know they can trust me.
• I quickly take ownership for mistakes that I make.
• I say what I mean and mean what I say.
• I take care of my responsibilities.
